Season 1 Characters
Tai
 |
Taichi "Tai" Kamiya
Crest: Courage
Adventurous, athletic and a born leader, Tai is usually the first to
spring into action. His aggressive personality often throws him into the
path of danger. He begins to realize, however, that to be a true leader
he must inspire the others' confidence, and that can mean using empathy
and compassion rather than reckless courage. |

the situation. |

Kari is Tai's little sister. She was intended to be one of the DigiDestined
team from the beginning, but she had the flu and couldn't go to camp with
the others. Kari is strangly wiser and more mature than a usual person
her age. Kari is also full of compassion and patience. She's still a kid,
though, and sometimes her empathy outstrips her judgment. However, you
can be sure that everything Kari does is done for the right reasons. |

Season 2 Characters
Daisuke
Daisuke Motomiya
Digimentals: Courage and Friendship
Daisuke is the new leader of the Digidestined. He looks a whole lot
like Tai, and in fact, Tai is his hero. Daisuke plays on the same soccer
team as Tai, and looks up to him a lot. Daisuke used to wear goggles similar
to Tai's, except they were square, but once Tai realized that it was time
for Daisuke to lead the Digidestined, he gave him his old goggles. Daisuke,
just like Tai, is quick to rush into things without thinking, and normally
his first decision isn't the right one. Daisuke also has a big crush on
Tai's little sister, Kari. His position as new leader means that
he has the traits of the two previous leaders, Matt and Tai. |

Miyako
Miyako Inoue
Digimentals: Love and Sincerity
At first glance Miyako may seem to be very similar to Sora but in truth
she's more like Mimi. At first meeting, Miyako seems pretty ditsy (in fact,
when she finally got to meet Mimi, she knew instantly that they were soulmates!)
but Miyako is the computer whiz of the group. She's in the computer club
at school with Izzy. Miyako isn't just good with computers, she's good
with pretty much anything mechanical. Miyako's family owns a conveniece
store, so she's always the one to supply the Digidestined with snacks on
their trips to Digiworld. |

Iori
Iori Hida
Digimentals: Reliability and Knowledge
Iori may be the youngest of the Digidestined, but he is definitely the
most disciplined. This most likely comes from his practice of kendo, traditional
Japanese fencing. He's the "baby" of the group like T.K. and Kari used
to be. Iori is always the one to make sure the Digidestined, mainly
Daisuke, don't do anything stupid. He lives in the same apartment building
as Miyako, and though they are quite different people, they are very good
friends. |

parents didn't get remarried. And its about time he got rid of that funny
hat!...err..well, he traded up for another funny hat! The girls at school
are always chasing T.K. around, but he's not really interested in any of
them..well.. he is interested in one girl. He has quite a big crush on
Kari, but hasn't gathered up the courage to ask her out yet. |

in arguments just to make Daisuke jealous. |
